Agreement
By downloading or using Word Tether, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your account
You are responsible for activity on your linked account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. Provide accurate information, choose an appropriate nickname, and do not impersonate another person, Word Tether, or its staff.
Fair play and conduct
Do not cheat, automate gameplay, manipulate scores or ratings, abuse bugs, evade restrictions, scrape the service, interfere with other players, spam requests, harass people, or submit unlawful or harmful content. We may remove content, invalidate results, restrict features, or suspend accounts to protect players and the integrity of the game.
Rankings and game content
Scores, rankings, word banks, challenges, ratings, and achievements can change as the game is balanced or corrected. We may reject, revise, or remove results affected by mistakes, abuse, incompatible dictionary versions, or technical failures.
Word Tether Plus
Word Tether Plus is currently offered as a one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes purchases and restorations under its terms. Plus unlocks the features described in the app at the time of purchase; online features still require a compatible device, internet access, and an operating backend service.
Ownership
Word Tether, its interface, artwork, game systems, software, and original content belong to the developer or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit, while granting us permission to process it as needed to operate, moderate, and improve the service.
Availability and warranties
The app is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent preservation of a specific ranking, or that every dictionary decision will be error-free. Nothing here excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded in your country.
Ending access
You may stop using Word Tether or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or serious violations of these terms.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. Questions can be sent to support@wordtether.com. The developer identified on Word Tether’s App Store listing is the service provider for these terms.
